Now I know you were all still wondering what to get me for Christmas...
Just kidding. These are actually just some of my current favorites for close friends. The best gifts are always the most personal and unique. I try to save my Christmas wish list for things that I wouldn't normally buy for myself, but I love when friends surprise me with unique and out-of-the-ordinary gifts - it definitely makes things more memorable in the long run.

Just ordered this little baby from JewelMint, Kate Bosworth and Cher Coulter's personalized jewelry initiative. This membership is going to be dangerous, I can already tell. It's going to get worse when Rachel Bilson and Nicole Chavez launch ShoeMint...I need to start hiding my bank cards.

I've always been a huge fan of the Amanda Thomas's LA based label, Luv AJ. Amanda has a good eye for trends, and always devises creative jewelry concepts that work so well within one theme. Here are some lookbook photos and personal favvies from her most recent collection, "Heavy Metal Lover."
Current Inspiration: US December Vogue 2011 editorial featuring Karlie Kloss, photographed by Mario Testino. All this tropical heat makes me wish I could skip winter all together this year and head somewhere exotic.

It's Manicure Monday at the Love Shack tonight. How awesome are these chic nail designs? I'm especially diggin' the reptile prints. Feel free to share links to your favorites, or send in photos of your own nail masterpieces!

Allow me to present actress Isabel Lucas on the cover of Vogue Australia, shot by the talents of Max Doyle and styled by the visionary Naomi Smith in the Kalahari desert, Africa. I love the mixed patterns and prints and the beautiful scenery.

I had the amazing opportunity to view this collection by Maria Francesca Pepe while in LA. Although she is based in London, she maintains a showroom here in LA so that she can style the works of Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez. Her jewelry is so artistic and well-crafted, evoking phallic forms with an unforeseen edge. I love the bold creations and the statement pieces. Here's some piccies from her newest SS/12 collection, Veleno.
