Metallic Warrier

I read about these pieces in Nylon Magazine a few months ago.  TOMTOM is a relatively new label, started in 2009 by former architect Elena Howell. Her talent as a trained architect is evident in her pieces through geometric structure and a sense of modernity. We all know how much I love metal work jewelry, but her pieces just seem like much more. I think her talent really adds a cohesiveness to her collections that a lot of other designers lack. Check out my favorites below, and definitely check out her website afterwards - here.

I like shiny things in moderation - what girl doesn't? The envelope shapes of these clutches is just the icing on the shiny cake.

El Mercado

Scout and Catalogue is heavily influenced by Mexican beach culture, and they strive to make pieces that remind you of "afternoons at secret beaches, sun kissed skin, and all day siestas." I think they do a damn well job. I love the time, effort and thought that goes into each handmade piece. I think it makes the items a lot more meaningful and valuable. Here are piccies from their line, El Mercado.

U N E A R T H E N

I don't pretend to be a firm believer in mythology, astrology - any -ology really, yet sometimes I think it's fun to imagine. These U N E A R T H E N pieces claim to have pre-selected the bearer. When the empty bullet meets the crystal it creates a powerful opposition that brings good fortune and new beginnings to the bearer. Each crystal contains a different element that has a different power, therefore it's very important to select your crystal bullet carefully. Me, I'm drawn to the Aqua Aura Quartz for sure. What about you?

U N E A R T H E N also has these awesome vile necklaces containing pieces of the elements and nature.
