Scout and Catalogue is heavily influenced by Mexican beach culture, and they strive to make pieces that remind you of "afternoons at secret beaches, sun kissed skin, and all day siestas." I think they do a damn well job. I love the time, effort and thought that goes into each handmade piece. I think it makes the items a lot more meaningful and valuable. I love the Mexican beach culture design (or things inspired by it). Forever 21 currently has a superb collection of stuff centered around this design.

Agreed. Mexican beach culture or culture in general is quite interesting. :) I hope its not to overexposed. Many people are starting it but only few can do it the right way. :)
